You pay for the number of automations you run. Not credits, not tasks, not tokens. Nothing here needs a spreadsheet to work out.

Nrth Star is in early access and taking on agencies in small groups. The audit is open to anyone now.

Still got a question?

What counts as one automation, which apps connect, what happens when you outgrow a tier. Ask before you pay for anything, and ask before you connect anything.

Ask a question

One automation = one thing that starts it.

Each of these is one automation, because each one has its own starting point:

  • Follow up on unanswered proposals.
  • Send a welcome email to new clients.
  • Rebuild the monthly report and put it in the shared drive.

That's three automations, not one. Nrth Star builds them separately on purpose, so one breaking never takes the others down with it.

Before you ask.

What counts as one automation?

One automation is one thing that starts it. “Follow up on unanswered proposals” is one. “Send a welcome email to new clients” is another. If you describe three separate things that should happen, that's three automations.

What happens if I go over my run limit?

Nrth Star tells you and offers an upgrade. A running automation is never stopped in the middle of the month.

Which apps do you support?

HubSpot and Gmail are first-class: Nrth Star knows them well enough to diagnose them properly. Beyond those, most business apps connect over the standard consent screen with a lighter set of guarantees, and anything with a public API can be connected, though the further you get from the first-class apps, the thinner the diagnostics when something goes wrong.

Do you need access to my CRM?

Not for the audit. The audit is a conversation and connects to nothing. You connect an account only once you've approved a plan, and only the accounts that plan needs.

What if an automation does something wrong?

Shadow mode is there to catch that before it can happen: the automation is replayed against your last 30 days with everything switched off, showing you what it would have done. After it's live, you can turn any automation off yourself, and if something breaks Nrth Star proposes a fix and waits for your approval rather than repairing it quietly.

Can I cancel?

Yes, whenever you like. Your automations stop at the end of the period you've paid for, and the audit stays free.
